Launch

pump.fun launches

Launch on pump.fun with an atomic opening buy, then distribute it to your buy wallets.

On Solana you can launch a new token on pump.fun. The token, the dev buy and one opening buy (the MEV buy) go out in one bundle, so nobody can buy in between. The MEV buy is then distributed to your buy wallets as ordinary buys.

  1. Create
Choose pump.fun as the launchpad. Set the dev buy (0 means no dev buy), the MEV buy in SOL and how many buy wallets receive the opening supply. Tip limits and a vanity address ending in "pump" are under More launch settings. pump.fun launches use fresh wallets and take SOL amounts, not a supply percentage.
  2. Fund
Pick a funding method and send the exact deposit. When funding completes, the contract address is assigned and shown in the launch panel. It never changes, also if you launch again, so you can share it before launch.
  3. Launch
Select Launch. The project is live as soon as the bundle lands.
  4. Distribution
The MEV buy moves to your buy wallets a few bundles at a time. The launch panel and the trading workspace show Distributing x/N.

Name and symbol

pump.fun allows a name of up to 32 bytes and a symbol of up to 10 bytes. Emoji and accented letters take more than one byte each, and the symbol is counted after it is upper-cased.

What the progress means

ShownMeaning
Preparing the launch bundleThe launch was accepted and its bundle is being built.
Outcome unknown, checkingA bundle was sent and may still land. Nothing is sent again until its outcome is known, and there is nothing to retry.
Created (live)The token exists and trading is open.
Distributing x/NHow many buy wallets have received their tokens. Failed wallets need support.
Distribution pausedA withdrawal, a spend limit or another pause stopped it. Bundles already sent keep confirming. Select Resume distribution to continue.
Some wallets are short of SOLNothing was sent. The panel lists each wallet and what it is missing. Top them up and launch again.
Waiting for support to reconcile this launchThe launch outcome is unclear. There is no retry until support confirms whether it launched.
Distribution finished with N wallets not fundedThe token trades normally. Support has been notified and recovers what was left.

Withdrawals during the distribution

You can always withdraw. Confirming a withdrawal pauses the distribution first, and it stays paused until you select Resume distribution, even if the withdrawal had to wait. If the withdrawal says a bundle is still confirming, try again in a minute.

Wallets marked Managed by the launch belong to the distribution. You can see their balance and withdraw from them, but not change their role, delete them or trade with them.
