Printer uses an access key instead of a username and password. Your key identifies your account and plan.

1. Open the app
   Go to the Printer app. If you are signed out you land on the sign-in screen.
2. Paste your access key
   Keys look like PRINT-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. Paste it into the access key field.
3. Open the terminal
   Select Open terminal. You arrive at your dashboard.

How your session is kept

After you sign in, this browser keeps a session token for Printer. Only this app and the Printer servers can use it: the page blocks scripts and connections from anywhere else, cannot be embedded in another site, and the sign-in cookie only marks that you are signed in, without carrying the token. Sign out on shared computers.

Signing out

Use Sign out in Settings, or search for Sign out in the command palette. Signing out ends the session on the server too.

Signed-in devices

Settings lists every device and browser signed in with your key, with when it was last active. Sign out any one of them, or choose Sign out other devices to end every session except the one you are using.
